GOLF<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t
There are 3 golf groups that meet weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. The group lessons are for U3A Members wishing to take-up the sport. Each Group is given tuition by a golf professional, David Lloyd, at the Formby Golf Centre, Moss Lane, Formby. Lessons cost \u00a36 per session payable on the day. During the summer months the Groups join together and hold competitions at various golf courses for those members who have reached a reasonable standard. A golf presentation evening for all members is also held annually at the end of the year.

\nIf there are new members who wish to take up Golf but don\u2019t have clubs they can borrow some off the Golf Coach. Cost per session is \u00a36
