SEPT. 2019 A new Golf Group has started up which is aimed at beginners. The group meet weekly on Wednesday mornings, 10-11, at Formby Golf Centre on Moss Lane, and are given tuition by golf professional, David Lloyd at a driving range. The cost is £6.00 paid directly to David Lloyd on the day.

GOLF 1
There are 4 golf groups that meet weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. The group lessons are for U3A Members wishing to take-up the sport. Each Group is given tuition by a golf professional, David Lloyd at a driving range. During the summer months the Groups join together and hold competitions at various golf courses for those members who have reached a reasonable standard. A golf presentation evening for all members is also held annually at the end of the year
